The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) is one of 11 constituents of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the largest performing arts complex in the world. Along with other constituents such as the New York Philharmonic, New York City Ballet, Lincoln Center Theater and The Metropolitan Opera, the Chamber Music Society has its home at Lincoln Center, at Alice Tully Hall, one of the world’s most exciting venues for chamber music. Bold, lush and exquisite piano quartets by Schumann and Brahms distinguish this unforgettable program, which will be all the more memorable as it marks the Chamber Music Series debut of composer Gustav Mahler. The all-star cast includes CMS co-artistic directors cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han, along with two of their frequent collaborators, violinist Daniel Hope and violist Pau Neubauer.
