"The Art of Space," Spoken Word featuring OCSA graduate and singer-songwriter Nightjars. Chapman University’s Hilbert Museum hosts creative writing students, alumni, and faculty in a spoken word performance weaving ideas of our grand, illuminative universe, backed by a video installation by Digital Media Conservatory students. This event is part of the "20/20/20: Legends of Steampunk" lineup. "20/20/20: Legends of Steampunk" a 20-day-long festival that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Creative Writing Conservatory. Throughout the month of February, the conservatory will host performances, dramatic readings, masterclasses, displays and more. Events take place across venues in Orange County through partnerships with Chapman University, Cal State University Fullerton and The Frida Cinema in Downtown Santa Ana. The festival also celebrates the success of the school’s expansion and opening of its second school, California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV), which also offers a Creative Writing Conservatory led by Blaylock’s son, John Blaylock.
