For nearly eight decades, American pianist Abbey Simon has been hailed as a “supervirtuoso” and is recognized as one of the grand masters of the piano. Music critics from New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and the major cities of Europe have often described Simon’s piano brilliance and his concert appearances “in the front rank of the younger generation of pianists.” And leading conductors have given high praise to Mr. Simon, who is recognized as an important figure on the musical scene.
