Basics of Hip Hop – Online or In-Person
For your safety and peace of mind, Orange County Music & Dance (OCMD) now offers the Fundamentals of Hip Hop with Kevin Pascua either In-Person or Live Stream! (in-person capacity is limited)
Learn the basic skills, terminology and body placement of hip hop culture in this high-energy class. Introducing the fundamentals of hip hop, grooving, popping, locking and breaking, class will challenge students to learn how to count music, pick up choreography, and build the confidence necessary to groove to the music.
Kevin Pascua - influenced by hip-hop culture from a young age, Kevin began his training in b-boying and urban dance choreography in 2006. His style is best described as groovy & dynamic with a strong emphasis on character embodiment, and he challenges his students to learn foundational techniques and a variety of new styles that they can adapt and apply to their craft.
