Laguna Art Museum (LAM) presents Film Night:  The Cool School which documents the rise of the Los Angeles contemporary art scene by focusing on the Ferus Gallery and its founders, Walter Hopps and Ed Kienholz, and profiling artists including Ed Ruscha, Craig Kauffman, Wallace Berman, Ed Moses, and Robert Irwin.  The 2008 documentary premiered at the Cleveland International Film Festival.  It was directed by Morgan Neville and narrated by Jeff Bridges.
