Bowers Museum temporarily CLOSED through March 31, 2020
For the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and community, and in an effort to support public health officials in their efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Bowers Museum will close temporarily to the public effective Tuesday, March 17 – Tuesday, March 31.
The Museum will honor any exhibition ticket purchases to be used at a later date without any additional process necessary. Additionally, we are happy to refund tickets upon request. Please contact visitorservices@bowers.org for assistance. We are working to reschedule any events that would have been held during this time and will be in touch with ticket holders directly with updates.
The Bowers Museum presents the monthly American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) lecture with Nicholas Brown, American Egyptologist, UCLA. The underlying goal of this presentation is to illustrate the ways in which ancient Egyptian art, artifacts, and history can function within modern contexts.
Visit the Bowers Museum Gallery Store for Egypt related materials!
Free for Bowers and ARCE members | $12 General
*NOTE: this is a replacement lecture for Dr. Francesco Tiradritti, who is not able to travel at this time.
