While we all stay safe at home, the Huntington Beach Art Center (HBAC) wants to connect you with our HBAC instructors and our Artist Council Steering Committee with an Artist Spotlight!  Today, get to know Sonja Krastman and Susan Turner to learn more about how they are making use of this time.

Sonja Krastman is the Communications Chair of the HBAC Artist Council Steering Committee and a frequent exhibitor in the annual Inspired and Centered on the Center exhibitions hosted at the Art Center. She exhibits in art fairs throughout California including Yountville's annual Art, Sip & Stroll event scheduled for April 25th. When California shut down, organizers transformed the popular festival into a virtual tour running through May 31. You can learn more on the Yountville Arts Instagram page.

Susan Turner is Co-Chair of the Artist Council Programs using her creative energy to repurpose shipping boxes into Garage Art with donations starting at $20 to benefit  the Huntington Beach Council on Aging!  Proceeds support first responders helping seniors in the Huntington Beach community.
