MOTAL shares an Origami Cranes Project

MOTAL shares an Origami Cranes Project

Presented by Museum of Teaching and Learning (MOTAL) at Online/Virtual Space

Museum of Teaching and Learning (MOTAL) brings you a link to a YouTube tutorial with step by step instructions to fold a paper crane.

Folding origami can be a calming, meditative act that perhaps some of us could use about now. The origami crane has become a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times, and legend says that folding 1,000 paper cranes will bring fortune and good luck.

Making origami can be a fun one day project, or you and your family can take advantage of this time and work together to fold one thousand cranes! All you need to get started is a square piece of paper. If you have origami paper, great! If you don’t, great! This is a neat project for re-purposing paper that would otherwise wind up in the recycling bin.
