“Creative Forces” Dance Fundraiser!
Connect this weekend with Creative Forces virtual performance to show these kids of Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts (HBAPA) how much their hard work is appreciated and how much they are supported and loved. Dancers started working early this year when choreographers developed their dance piece concepts, presented them to the panel for approval, and hoped they'd get their piece chosen for the show. From there they were assigned dancers and started working diligently on choreography to bring to life the vision in their heads and hearts. Then.....no more groups. No more duets, trios or anything other than solos. Just like that it all crashed down.
Our student choreographers turned this around and started over from scratch creating solo pieces and different group pieces utilizing technology to bring those in isolation together. Pretty amazing! This show is the product of it all. Its all by the kids and it's pretty amazing.
We cannot thank you enough for your support. We know the kids are also extremely appreciative. Thank you again and we wish you all the best in the coming months.
