Cast members will collaborate with Spotlight’s team to determine what songs best suit each person’s “miscast” self.  Think of a song that is 100% NOT you, but you really truly love and would die to perform.  Think of a song that you would never sing in a full scale production. That’s what we’re looking for and we can’t wait to work with you to create something truly unique.

Production experiences will include the following:

Participants will learn choreography to one or more of the following musical numbers with Maddie Young – Cool (West Side Story), Cell Block Tango (Chicago), Raise You Up/Just Be (Kinky Boots)

One-on-one vocal instruction with either Christopher Smith or Charna Lopez (at least 2 private sessions)

3 Master Artist Discussions/Q&A’s

Kelly Felthous (National Tours: Wicked, Flashdance)
Jennifer Rias (Broadway: The Cher Show, Rock of Ages) and Mike Cannon (Broadway: Aladdin, Addams Family)
Adam Levy (National Tours: Waitress, Broadway Princess Party)

If able, YLS will record cast members one at a time in our studio.  Even if songs and dances are filmed outside of the studio, they will be combined into a fully edited digital version of the production.

Virtual opening and viewing will be on July 30th!  A recorded version will be available for purchase as well.
