Love West Coast - an exhibition featuring the iconic work of Los Angeles based photographer and director Mike Miller. Love West Coast features a collection of intimate photographs of musicians, artists, athletes, actors and women who make up the style and culture of the West Coast. Love West Coast has been collaboratively curated by DAX Gallery owner, Alex Amador, photographer, Mike Miller and Art Director, Shannon Miller. Seeing the progression of Mike Miller's career and after experiencing his iconic images of rap legends like Tupac and Easy E, Alex has always taken an interest in the work of true photographers. "I believe photography has lost its sincerity and would like to support the originators like Mike."

In Mike's book, West Coast Hip Hop: A History in Pictures, he presents just what the title implies. A repertoire of his iconic images covering the golden age of rap. His current release, "Love West Coast Girls," is the 2nd book Mike has published with his wife Shannon, which portrays the symbolic beauty of West Coast women and the prominent culture that has stemmed from influential artists and musicians.

Mike Miller, is well known for his Hip Hop album covers which include Tupac, NWA, Cypress Hill, Ice Cube and Snoop. In addition to shooting countless album covers, Miller has worked with high profile brands and celebrities for ad campaigns such as, Angelina Jolie, Jack Nicholson, Cameron Diaz, James Franco, Sony, Nike, MTV, Stussy, Coca~Cola, Ferrari, Stan Getz, Nick Cave, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar.

Mike's wife, third generation Los Angeles native, Shannon Miler grew up influenced by the surf and skate culture that was at her doorstep. Also the Los Angeles music scene was a huge influence, her true inspiration came directly from album cover art and photography. She is an accomplished designer with a career that includes wardrobe styling from Tupac to Cameron Diaz.

Mike and Shannon have worked together to curate and publish Love West Coast, which features their collaborative projects over the years. Shannon came up with the original concept and design and together they were able to put together a compilation of amazing images with incredibly influential women and artists.
