Hailed by The New York Times as the “hottest artist on the classical music planet,” internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang has played on the world’s grandest stages: the 2014 World Cup concert in Rio with Plácido Domingo to celebrate the final game; the 56th Grammy Awards, where he performed with Metallica; and the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where more than four billion people around the world viewed his performance, to name just a few.
For his first recital appearance in Orange County in seven years, he performs Bach’s Italian Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons, and the four Chopin Scherzi.
