In 1939 Producer David O. Selznick shuts down production of his epic picture Gone with the Wind, because nothing was working. He calls in high powered screenwriter Ben Hecht and top flight director Victor Fleming to fix his masterpiece in record time by locking them in his office and working night and day. What ensues is nothing but absolute hilarity.
