Jazz Jam Saturdays with Orange County Music & Dance (OCMD) is a no judgement, open jam session that meets once a week and provides an opportunity for jazz players at all levels on all instruments to play and improvise over jazz standards.

The group will mostly be reading from The Real Book, Volume I, a copy of which is required in order to participate. The group may occasionally play charts that are not in the Real Book, Volume I, but in such cases, copies of the charts will be provided.

The idea for this group is simply to have fun and play jazz with an eye towards sharpening your improvisation skills.
