6th OC Film Fiesta, Oct. 9-18, 2015

Presented by OC Film Fiesta at Frida Cinema, The

A lost Dolores del Rio silent classic, Orson Welles Centennial tribute, new Peter Greenaway Film, advance screening of a 3D animated feature, thought-provoking documentaries and a selection of great Mexican films are part of the 6th OC Film Fiesta, which returns to Santa Ana’s historic Calle Cuatro from Oct. 9-18.

Launched in 2010, the OC Film Fiesta is a cinematic celebration of Orange County’s diversity and multicultural heritage that features award-winning feature films, shorts, documentaries, youth works, parties and fun activities for a diverse audience of families, students, artists and film lovers of all ages. This year’s Film Fiesta will take place at the fabulous Frida Cinema, which is located in the heart of downtown Santa Ana.

“In addition to the great films, this is an important year for the Film Fiesta, because it also marks the launch of our new organization, Media Arts Santa Ana (MASA) which provides media training and access to technology for local youth,” says Festival Director Victor Payan. “Every ticket you buy supports our year round programs like our free Youth Murals & Media Class, Teen Cinema Camp and workshops for local filmmakers.”
