This special evening is an opportunity for children and their parents/siblings/caretakers to have some fun in an autism-friendly environment along with other families. Many of our community partners, who specialize in supporting children on the autism spectrum, will be on-hand to enrich your family’s play experience with welcoming smiles and practical support.

Grown up Tip: The outdoor activities of the summer can be a bit overwhelming for children who are on the spectrum. Prepare some simple outdoor fun activities like bubble blowing! Bubbles are wonderful tools for engaging in play. Try blowing lots of bubbles quickly and then one big bubble slowly. Take turns. Through this activity, your child is bonding, learning to take turns, developing patience, and strengthening their fine motor skills.
