Celebrating over a half a century of Hollywood history and glamour, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is honored to present a collection of portraits from famed award-winning celebrity photographer Douglas Kirkland. Opening the Casa Captivating 2015-2016 Season, the OPEN CASA: CHERISH exhibition will feature iconic celebrity portraits captured by Douglas Kirkland. The exhibition will run October 1, 2015 – January 24, 2016. Photographs from the exhibition will be available for purchase.

Douglas Kirkland is a multi award-winning celebrity photographer whose subjects range from Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn to Jack Nicholson, Angelina Jolie, George Clooney and Elle Fanning. His career spans over 60 years and his photographs are in the permanent collections of museums around the world. Some of his books include Freeze Frame, Coco Chanel Three Weeks, Marilyn – An Evening 1961 and a comprehensive monograph on his career, Douglas Kirkland – A Life in Pictures came out in the Fall of 2013.
