Miguel de Cervantes, aging and an utter failure as playwright, poet and tax collector, has been thrown into a dungeon in Seville to await trial by the Spanish Inquisition. There he is dragged before a kangaroo court of his fellow prisoners. Based on The Adventures of Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha is a comic tragedy of mankind's struggle to better both himself and the world.

These Shining Lives

Catherine Donohue and her friends have loving families and good jobs painting glow-in-the-dark watch faces at Chicago’s Radium Dial Company, and the 1920s seem full of promise.
