Peter Blake Gallery in Laguna Beach reopens with a new exhibit, Light & Space.

In a world with noise, distractions, and chaos, a number of artists seek to push the boundaries of perception and experience - Light & Space.

The Light & Space movement of the 1960's explored minimalism with a uniquely California spin - with keen attention to the interaction of light and space.  The materials these artists use to create these perceptual experiences emerged from the postwar aerospace industry and its advances.

Robert Irwin, Larry Bell, and Helen Pashgian continue to work today to create works that asks viewers questions how they experience their world and the phenomenal.
