Experience the power of thousands united by a single cause at the 12th Annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks Orange County 5K Walk and Autism Resource Fair.
Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disorder in the U.S. and we need more volunteers to join our fight. Whether this is your first walk or the 10th, take the first step and register today. This successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
Hosted by ABC7 Eyewitness News Anchor Phillip Palmer, this fun-filled, family friendly event will feature a large resource fair, kid-friendly activities and live performances by ‘80s cover band Flashback Heart Attack and John Easdale, lead singer of Dramarama. Registration and the resource fair opens at 9 a.m., the opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:30 a.m.
Free. All walkers are encouraged to raise $150 to receive a commemorative Walk Now for Autism Speaks T-shirt on Walk day.
