Volunteer Training

Volunteer Training

Presented by Pretend City Children's Museum at Pretend City Children's Museum

Children develop from many experiences and relationships. Pretend City’s Volunteers serve as role models. They play an important role in inspiring children to learn, and overcome obstacles, and this quarter will help them beat the heat with fun activities and offerings. With a variety of volunteer roles to choose from, you can make a difference. Here are just a few examples:

Field Trip Explorer: Help lead field trip lessons that will encourage children to identify healthy food choices. Afterwards join them on the museum floor to support their learning.
Partner in Play: Are you interested in becoming a Physical Education Teacher or Coach? Practice your skills at Pretend City by leading a physical fitness class for children.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, civic leader, clergy member, sports coach, after-school program leader, or a person who just happens to be in a child’s life, you have the ability to inspire!
