Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) College of the Arts presents an online Fall Dance Theatre coordinated by Lisa D. Long entitled, "Rooms." View Program Book
"Rooms" (1955 excerpts) by renowned choreographer Anna Sokolow (1910–2000), deals with the psychic isolation and unfulfilled desires of people living in the big city. The jazz score by Kenyon Hopkins catches the pulse and beat of modern society. An enduring masterpiece of twentieth-century art.
Also featuring dynamic works by current students and recent alumni choreographers. Created in quarantine, these works speak from seven individual perspectives and prove that dance, at its essence, will adapt and evolve to express itself.
Dancers/ choreographers: Moises Felix, Norianna Galindo-Ramirez, Kaitlyn and Alison Hobbs, Shey Sabellico Candi Spahr, Emily Upcraft, Kassie Vasquez
