Central Library Friends Room
Meet Jan Brett, celebrated author and artist with over 40 million books in print. Jan will be introducing her newest book, “The Turnip,” a rollicking tale of farm friends struggling to pull up a turnip. She will also demonstrate how she creates the lovable animals in her picture books.
Books will be available for purchase and signing from Whale of a Tale Children's Bookshoppe.
Admission is free. First 100 families will receive a signed poster.

Book sales will begin at 4 p.m. Due to time constraints, signing will be limited to books purchased at this event. Seating is on first-come, first-serve basis, limited by room capacity. children must be accompanied by an adult.
