Join the Pacific Symphony from the safety and comfort of your living room sofa as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birthday on KCET's Southland Sessions.

Hosted by Music Director Carl St.Clair, the final program of the series opens with the first movement of Prokofiev's Symphony No. 1 and continues with a special mosaic recording by Pacific Chorale of Frank Ticheli's touching hymn, "Let There Be Rest."

Then, enjoy the finale of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, culminating in the composer's moving homage to mankind, the famous "Ode to Joy."
