Infinite You Meditation Studio (http://infiniteyoumeditation.com/) will be hosting a 6 week class series at Pretend City.

This program will allow your children to begin their journey into a mindful, happy, stress- free life. It is composed of several guided meditations and breathing exercises that are proven to reduce stress, boost creativity, increase focus, social connectedness and emotional well-being. Unlike customary meditation practices, these meditations do not reflect on any specific religious traditions and are suitable for people with diverse backgrounds and interests. “If every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation”-The Dalai Lama.

Yoga Mats will be provided or you can bring your own from home. Pillows are recommended for comfort. Each class will be 60 minutes in length.

Week 1. Adventure Visualization:
A meditation which takes you and your kid on an adventure inside of your minds and hearts.

Week 2. Zen Meditation:
A meditation which involves counting, and takes you into a still state of mind.

Week 3. Meadow and Breath Meditation:
Let’s take an inner adventure to the most beautiful green meadow.

Week 4. Guided Kindness Meditation:
A kindness meditation which develops compassion.

Week 5. Light Triangle Meditation:
A guided meditation for boosting the creativity within.

Week 6. White Light Waterfall-
A meditation adventure to a waterfall.

There will be 2 class offerings:
Parent & Child Meditation Class Dates & Time: Tuesdays, January 19th-February 23rd, 4:00-5:00p.m.
Specifically for:  Children ages 2.5-6 years old and their parent or guardian (1 adult free per paid child)

Intro to Meditation for Kids Class Dates & Time: Fridays, January 22nd-February 26th, 4:00-5:00p.m.
Specifically for:  Children ages 6-12 years old
