Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) faculty and alumni were selected to participate in The Paris Seminar exhibition.
The LCAD artists featured in the exhibition include LCAD’s Chair of Fine Arts, Hope Railey and LCAD student and professional artist, Vanessa Rothe. Also included in the exhibition are Andrew Ameral, Ryan S. Brown, Michelle Dunaway, Adrian Gottlieb, Richard Greathouse, Michael Klein, Alan J. Lawson, Jeremy Lipking, Iliya Mirochnik, J. Judson Monroe, Kate Sammons and Aaron Westerberg.
Rothe, a painter, curator, editor and published author, along with partner and Cambridge University and Florence Art Academy graduate, Sean Forester, curated The Paris Seminar, a bi-coastal exhibition featuring top realist artists from the United States. A portion of the proceeds from sales will go to LCAD scholarships, and will allow exhibiting artists to study historical master figure composers in Paris and to take on the challenge to create their own large-scale multi-figure compositions.
