FIDM presents a free virtual discussion, A Conversation with Costume Designer Mona May, acclaimed costume designer, and FIDM alumna, hosted by Nick Verreos, FIDM Chair of Fashion Design.

Along with the rest of the fashion world, Mona May is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Clueless, a film that put her on the map professionally, and continues to influence sartorial trends.

Mona May’s career spans television and films, including Clueless, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Never Been Kissed, The Wedding Singer, Enchanted, and Santa Clarita Diet, among many others.

Viewers will learn about her successful career in Hollywood, find out how she got her start, and get inside advice about pursuing a career in costume design.

Nick Verreos is a fashion designer, his collections of red carpet gowns and cocktail dresses have been worn by celebrities including Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Heidi Klum Now a Consulting Producer for Project Runway on Bravo, he is also a Project Runway alum and Winning Mentor of Project Runway: Under the Gunn. Nick Verreos is a graduate of FIDM.
