Calling all future archaeologists to the Kidseum dig site! One of the most popular activities at the museum are the outdoor archaeology dig pits located on the patio. Beginning in January one dig pit will be open every weekend day (closed First Festival Sundays and pending weather), the cultures will change weekly. The digs are not facilitated and are included with Kidseum admission. All children must be accompanied by an adult when exploring. Nothing beats the excitement of hand-on archaeology! Families have the opportunity to excavate in our outdoor dig pits. Search for buried Egyptian Artifacts.
