Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Alberto Ginastera

Acclaimed pianist Eduardo Delgado, has international audiences and critics consistently recognizing him for his fiery intensity projected from the concert stage. Recent performances include an appearance with Martha Argerich at the Theatro Colon in Buenos Aries to rave reviews. This “rare musical personality” (Sovietskaya Kultura, Moscow) has been the recipient of many awards and prizes from the Vladimir Horowitz Award to the Martha Baird Rockefeller Prize. The Cal State Fullerton professor of music has been on artist faculties of several universities in Japan as well as in California, and is in demand for piano master classes and workshops. At Fullerton, he established the Alicia de Larrocha scholarship fund for talented piano students. Delgado was the recipient of the 1999 UNESCO medal for his contribution to music in his home country of Argentina. His performances can be heard on ERATO and MA Record recordings.

The Box Office located on the southwest corner of the Clayes Performing Arts Center. Free 15-minute parking is available off Arts Drive near the Box Office. Parking on weekends is free starting at 5 pm, Fridays. At all other times, daily permits are required and can be purchased for $8 upon entering the parking structure/lots.
