The Merry Wives of Windsor

The Merry Wives of Windsor

Presented by CSU Fullerton - College of the Arts at Young Theatre, Cal State Fullerton

One of Shakespeare’s funniest creatures is the cantankerous and flirty Sir John Falstaff, a soldier who is down on his luck and hoping to turn his fortunes around by seducing the wives of two wealthy citizens in the city of Windsor. Lazy egotist that he is, he sends Mistress Page and Mistress Ford identical love letters. The clever duo discovers his double-dealing and turn the tables to the delight of the audience and the confusion of the women’s suspecting husbands. All around merriment ensues.
