Free Community Viewing
Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) is honored to host the OC's Rose River Memorial installation, part of a nationwide COVID-19 Memorial Day on March 1. Artist Marcos Lutyens combined community-made roses into an installation that will be on view outside OCMA .
The OC Memorial will join a collaborative national memorial exhibit of handmade roses to visualize our collective loss and generate community healing.
March 1 marks the first National Covid Memorial Day, and our rose making workshop will be a way to participate in this national moment of grief and recognition. Your individual roses will become a part of this national communal effort to recognize so many lost to Covid this year.
Free Outdoor Exhibit
