The Southern California Philharmonic is proud to present the three winners of our annual concerto competition.
1st Place: Andrew Edwards, piano, performing the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, Mvt 1
2nd Place: Kenichi Kiyama, violin, performing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E major, Mvt 1
3rd Place: Nicholas Tappin, violin, performing the Vivaldi Violin Concerto in A minor Mvt 1.
To round out the concert, Maestro Muresan has also chosen Poet and the Peasant, Von Suppe and Symphony No. 5, Reformation, Mendelssohn.
