American Patchwork Quartet

Presented by Musco Center for the Arts at Online/Virtual Space

Musco Center for the Arts invites you to our free virtual event with the American Patchwork Quartet (APQ).

Join the four distinct voices of American Patchwork Quartet (APQ) as they breathe new life into centuries-old American songs.

Vocalist Falu Shah, guitarist and vocalist Clay Ross, drummer Clarence Penn, and bassist Yasushi Nakamura

Reimagine traditional American folk songs through the lens of four U.S. citizens with different cultural backgrounds, highlighting patterns and sparking conversations around race and immigration.

APQ is musical storytelling at its finest, compelling audiences to reflect on the ways in which we are all different and the ways in which we are the same, regardless of borders, cultures or colors.
