The Annual Laguna Niguel Family YMCA Run in The Parks event is going virtual! This annual community and family tradition to celebrate Independence Day is back virtually and with some newly added options. New this year, we will be offering a Half-Marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K (6.1 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles), a Kids Race (1 mile), and monthly distance training challenges! Please note the first 500 participants to sign up will receive a swag bag. Every race and challenge entry fee directly benefits the YMCA scholarship fund. This fund supports those most in need in our community. Last year, during the pandemic, this fund provided much-needed childcare to frontline workers and health & wellness resources to those in isolation. Just think with each step you take in your run, you are providing HOPE to someone in need. We call that a win-win!

Event Details

June 1 – 30, 2021: Get ready for your race by completing a short or long-run challenge in the month of June.
July 1 – 11, 2021: Run your 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon or Kid’s 1-mile.

Runners can complete their challenges and races from home, at the Y, or outdoors. Plus you can track your efforts by downloading the RaceJoy app here.
