The Wooden Floor returns to live performance in triumph with our 38th Annual Concert: Passage/Home, A Site-Specific Exploration of Place on-site at our Santa Ana location.

The nation’s top artists and designers work in collaboration to adapt the organization’s contemporary dance performance into a site-specific spectacular for youth from low-income communities to again have the opportunity to co-create and express themselves.

Using the organization’s Ernesto M. Vasquez-designed space, which our students refer to as their “second home,” these young dancers harness this platform for success they’ve always known and add their distinctive points of view to produce a poignant and ground-breaking experience.

The Wooden Floor’s work has drawn national accolades and now reaches another level of artistic achievement, while emerging from the midst of the pandemic, showing the resiliency of our community and leaving audiences inspired.
