Chapman World CAFÉ (Cultural Arts Festival & Events) Presents El Latido del Corazon Mexicano (Heartbeat of Mexico)

It’s fiesta time in the Aitken Arts Plaza! Enjoy free activities and performances saluting the glorious music and culture of Mexico on the plaza all afternoon, followed by an evening concert featuring two of Southern California’s most acclaimed mariachis.

Join a Mexican fiesta on the Aitken Arts Plaza with an afternoon full of free performances, delicious food and fascinating exhibits. This first offering from Musco World CAFÉ honors Mexican culture, tradition and family, and encourages everyone, from all ethnic backgrounds, to share in the beauty of Mexico’s rich history, music and art. It’s all topped off by an evening concert inside Musco Center, starring two of the top mariachi ensembles in Southern California—Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, which helped catapult mariachi music to national prominence; and Mariachi Reyna de los Angeles, America’s first all-female mariachi.
