Free Film: To Keep Our Roots Alive

Free Film: To Keep Our Roots Alive

Presented by Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine (CTSA) at Online/Virtual Space

UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) presents To Keep Our Roots Alive, free on-demand.

An ensemble-driven work created through improvisation and inquiry, this film reflects on family lineage, heritage, culture and traditions through scenes, gesture and song.  We pondered the questions, "What in our family are we fighting to keep?” and “What in our family are we fighting to lose?” and found that at the center of that quest were tales of love, despair, respect, joy, humor and healing.
