The 30th annual AIDS Walk Orange County event will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at William R. Mason Regional Park in Irvine, Calif. This year’s theme for the walk is “Reclaiming the Eighties.” The message calls into remembrance the decade when AIDS became an epidemic, while emphasizing the triumphant strides that have been made to manage and prevent HIV/AIDS within the past 30 years. The 5K walk has been put on by ASF since 1985, and the 5K Red Ribbon Fun Run, which is designed for runners of all stages, has been a part of the event for the last three years. Eighties fashion and music will be highlighted at the event along with carnival-style games and food and refreshments.
Participants can register for this event by going online to AIDSwalkorangecounty.com.
