Described as a spiritual expressionist refusing to follow trends, Roberta Eisenberg (1940-2006) created a profound world of beauty, full of the power of nature and the vastness of the human spirit; a modernist aesthetic, rich with visual metaphor and deep psychological understandings. She received a number of important solo gallery exhibitions and retrospectives of her work at the Kellogg gallery California State Polytechnic University in 2009, and in 2012 at her alma mater, the renowned University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
