The CSUF Grand Central Art Center (GCAC) in Downtown Santa Ana (DTSA) reopens September 4, 2021 with an exhibition by Roksana Pirouzmand, they last forever.
they last forever features a psychological extension of sketches for performance ideas.
Her works are slabs of clay painted with additional clay. The artist cut through and punctured the slabs to create actual holes in depicted spaces.
The spaces are confined, some domestic, others hygienic and clinical, just like prisons, mental institutions, or galleries. These spaces can also be metaphors for interrelations between people and countries
