One night with two amazing singers
Incomparable soul singer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Mavis Staples returns to the Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall stage for one special night. Raised in the church’s gospel singing, revered for her protest songs in the Civil Rights era and reinvigorated in our current age as a singular singing force.
Kandace Springs opens the show with her dazzling vocals. This pianist, and songwriter starts the evening with the voice that Prince described as “a voice that could melt snow.”
