Irvine Fine Arts Center (IFAC) presents a series of  Artist Talks.  Learn about the inspirations, processes, and artist backgrounds for works on view in the exhibits. Each talk will be held on Zoom, and advanced registration.

Meet Kaitlynn Redell is a visual artist and arts educator based in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design, and her Master of Fine Arts from Parsons the New School for Design.

Navigating the intersection of parenthood, artistic production, and constructions of identity inform Kaitlynn Redell’s newest works on view in Mirror. The artist will discuss how periods of “intense togetherness” between her and her young children during COVID-19, led to the creation of work that is simultaneously specific and broadly accessible.
