Ballet is the foundation of most dance forms, and it combines dance with the beauty of music. The benefits of learning ballet include development of good posture and correct placement, coordination, self-discipline while improving dance technique and musicality. The training program is based on the Vaganova method. We believe that stage experiences are precious, and our students are frequently encouraged to participate in both local and international ballet competitions. We challenge our students to achieve their very best, and we provide them with opportunities to develop their full potential. Training is under the guidance of highly qualified teachers with extensive experience in the basic principles and traditions of the Vaganova method. The level of exercise is calculated individually and adjusted for age and physical abilities of each student.

Pre-Professional & Professional Program (Ages 7-18): Levels 1-8 : *Please note that students are placed into graded levels dependent upon the student's technical abilities, not necessarily age, (to be determined by a placement class and evaluation).* Classical Ballet training in the Vaganova method with examinations twice a year, and the opportunities to improve both technique and artistry through performances. We are pleased to offer our students a welcoming and professional ballet program. During the season, students will have the opportunity to attend Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe, Pointe/Variation, Character Dance, Contemporary, and Stretch classes. We will also have special guest teachers and master classes. In early December and June, students will have an examination with guest ballet judges to independently evaluate all of our students. All parents will be invited to view the examination, and obtain feedback on their student’s accomplishments, as well as suggested goals for the future. Students will have the opportunity to participate at our annual performances, showcases and competitions. Through this program, many dancers may discover a path to more serious training and may even begin to contemplate a career in ballet.
