Enjoy a day of holiday-inspired workshops, music, food, and drinks at “An OC Mix Holiday” happening on Saturday, December 10 at SOCO + The OC Mix.  The center is hosting a series of seasonal activities that both children and adults can enjoy with the purchase of even event ticket. Each ticket includes admission to one (1) interactive workshop.

Workshops for adults (ages 12 and above) include:

“Make-Your-Own Seasonal Butter Board” from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., led by Kitchen Table Marketing + PR

(Butter boards are taking over the charcuterie scene! Create your own holiday-themed butter board during this how-to workshop. $105 value!

“Holiday Floral Arrangement Workshop” from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., led by Cynthia Tran of Hadley & Ren

(Create your own beautiful holiday centerpiece using dried and preserved florals that are timeless yet trendy. $125 value)

“Hand-Painted Ornaments on Tree Bark” from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., led by Rhiannon Beach of Alloy Noir

(Using acrylic paint on small circular wooden tree bark cuts, create your own holiday ornament.)

Workshops for kids (ages 12 and under) include:

“Ornament Making” from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., led by Cynthia Tran of Hadley & Ren

(Kids will get to make their own holiday ornaments that can be taken home and enjoyed for years to come.)

Kids can create even more take-home artwork by visiting a special holiday coloring station located in the outdoor breezeway area.

And what celebration is complete without good tunes? Acoustic guitarist Evyn Charles will be keeping the vibe alive with music that’s sure to keep you in the festive spirit.

Tickets are available for purchase online for $40 each (for adults) and $25 each (for kids), which includes admission to one (1) workshop, plus a raffle ticket. Several shops and eateries have generously donated items that will go home with a few lucky winners. Tickets also include a hot cocoa kit (for kids), coffee beverage (for adults), and a free canvas tote bag you can keep and use for holiday shopping.

Guests will also have a chance to support a good cause during this event! Kids Give to Kids, a local charity that collects and distributes holiday gifts to children in need, is currently hosting a toy drive. Shoppers can donate new, unwrapped toys by placing items in the bins that are set up inside The OC Mix.
