Celebrating Esperanza’s Tradition of Excellence, the next iteration of the Big Band All-Star Alumni Concert supports the EEU Scholarship Fund in 2022
Join Esperanza Big Band Jazz for our All-Star Alumni Concert on Friday, December 23 at the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Performing Arts Center.
The show will include alumni from 2008 - 2021. A couple of people are back after just dropping their first albums (Greg Turner & Ryan DeWeese), Joel Wenhardt is home from his new job teaching jazz piano at Juilliard, and tons of students are now engineers or pilots or pharmaceutical technicians, really living their best lives and donating their time to come back. The All-Star Alumni Concert commemorates the EEU Scholarship Fund every 5 years and supports graduating seniors every year in June. Mr. Davis is proud that “the first EEU Scholarship Fund from the 2017 Alumni Concert has allowed us to support the dreams of many fine musicians.” Help us continue this tradition by signing-up for Alumni Concert tickets for $15 and the EEU Scholarship Pledge.
