The Hilbert Museum Temporary: All Aboard

The Hilbert Museum Temporary (The Temp) is now open in Old Town Orange during our museum expansion project.  Come see our first exhibition at The Temp, All Aboard: The Romance of California's Railroads, focusing on trains, train stations and the stories of Californians interacting with trains.  If you love trains, this is a must-see.

Researched/curated by museum director Mary Platt, and featuring oils, watercolors and etchings by many of California's finest artists, from the 1930s till today.  The show includes paintings by Millard Sheets, Emil Kosa Jr., Margaret Esther Rogers, Phil Dike, Robert MacGuire, John Bohnenberger, Gene Francis, Bradford J. Salamon, Arthur Millier, Jae Carmichael, Rex Brandt, Yoko Mazza, George Post, Eugene Wallin and more.
