Join exhibition curator Wendy Van Wyck Good for a Gallery Talk on The Bruton Sisters: Modernism in the Making. The nation’s foremost Bruton scholar, Good first encountered the work of artists Margaret, Esther, and Helen Bruton—collectively known as the Bruton sisters—in 2018. Through her research into the lives and careers of the women artists from her local community in Monterey, California, Good unearthed the important artistic innovations of these previously overlooked creatives.
