Muckenthaler Cultural Center (Muck) is excited to announce a Rowan Harrison’s popular handbuilding ceramics class returns to the Muck.  Rowan teaches the craft of hand built Native American ceramics with traditional techniques handed down to him from his grandmother, a Pueblo potter.

This 6-week course teaches the craft of traditional hand built Native American ceramics by master artisan Rowan Harrison. Learn the basics of handbuilding with earthenware clay and underglaze decorations. Harrison will be teaching traditional handbuilding techniques that were handed down from his grandmother, a Pueblo potter. From traditional Native American designs to modern interpretations of form and function, students will learn and utilize a variety of techniques to create unique and personal ceramic projects.
