Pacific Chorale's season culminates with a spectacular program featuring the Choral-Orchestral West Coast Premiere of Florence Price’s newly rediscovered masterwork, Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight, set to text by American poet Vachel Lindsay, alongside one of Joseph Haydn’s greatest compositions, his stirring and majestic “Nelson Mass.”
Under the baton of Artistic Director Robert Istad, this powerful program features the full Pacific Symphony, soprano Aundi Marie Moore and bass-baritone Michael Sumuel as guest soloists as well as solos from the Chorale’s mezzo-soprano I-Chin Feinblatt and tenor Nicholas Preston.
