In honor of National Disability Awareness Month we invite you to join us live onine for Art-&-Adversity Awareness Workshop: National Disability Awareness.  This will be a celebration of artists with disabilities during National Disability Awareness Month. We will learn about iconic and contemporary artists with disabilities, as well as create art together.  Create with us as we explore the art world through the lens of artists with disabilities.  We will also create our own works of art together.

National Disability Awareness Month
President Ronald Reagan officially declared March National Disabilities Awareness Month in 1987. He concluded by calling upon “all Americans to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities” to help promote awareness and acceptance of individuals with disabilities.

National Disabilities Awareness Month provides an opportunity for people all over America to come together and celebrate disability rights. The Art Spread hosts events like workshops on topics relevant to disability rights advocacy, provides resources for individuals living with disabilities, and recognizes accomplishments achieved by those living with disabilities throughout history.
